Your experience scheduling meetings with external invitees is about to be elevated. Update Daylite now to experience the enhancements that have been made to how Daylite supports you in managing external meetings.
We’re always thrilled to announce updates to Daylite designed to enhance the lives of our business customers. Managing meetings with external contacts is crucial in business, as meetings drive many activities that propel our businesses forward. That’s why we completely redesigned Daylite’s external meeting invites to streamline scheduling and management, making it effortless for you.
The biggest change we made during the external meeting invites revamp was to move sending invite emails and receiving replies to Daylite’s cloud. Moving to the cloud unlocks several key enhancements we’re sure you’ll love, including:
✅ Significantly improved compatibility with:
Microsoft Exchange/Outlook/365
Google Gmail
Yahoo
Apple iCloud
✅ Improved communication with invitees:
Completely revamped meeting invitation emails better highlight key meeting details
Invitees can conveniently RSVP to a meeting with a single click via Accept/Decline/Maybe buttons embedded directly into the email
Receive Push Notifications immediately for responses to meeting invitations
✅ Easily manage invitee response status:
Mark an invitee as either required or optional, communicated in the invitation email
Manually change the RSVP status of an invitee, handy when coordinating a meeting by phone or in-person
Receive notifications of delivery issues so you can resolve and ensure key attendees are present
Because invitations are sent and replies are received by the cloud, management of your meetings happens whether you are working or not. For example, you could schedule a meeting while waiting to board your plane, and have a response via Push Notification by the time you land, all happening while your devices are offline.
Other Fixes
Fixes an issue where the cursor was not set to new fields added to the Detail Edit card when creating a new record.

Scheduling meetings has gotten even easier in Daylite. With Daylite’s new Meeting Links feature, you can instantly generate and add video conferencing links directly to your appointments—without ever leaving Daylite. Whether you use Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams, Daylite now handles the link creation for you, saving you from the hassle of switching between apps, and manually creating, copying and pasting meeting links.
And because Daylite was built to work offline, the Meeting Links feature works even when you don’t have an internet connection. You can create appointments and add placeholders for video links while offline. Daylite will generate and insert the actual link automatically once you’re back online—before any invitations are sent.
Getting started with Meeting Links in Daylite is simple. When you create a new appointment, you’ll notice a new video icon in the appointment card. This is where you set up and manage your video conferencing options. Just connect your video account once, and from then on, adding meeting links is only one click away.
Click the video icon and choose “Configure…”. You’ll be guided through a quick authorization process to connect your account securely to Daylite.
Once your account is connected, simply select it from the video icon dropdown to insert a video link directly into your appointment. The link will be saved with the appointment and visible to your internal team. External invitees will receive it automatically in their email invitation.
Even if you’re offline, you can still schedule a meeting and choose your video provider. Daylite will show a placeholder so you know a link will be added. As soon as you’re back online, Daylite generates the meeting link and inserts it automatically—before any invitations are sent.
