# Could Not Connect to Daylite Helper

To resolve this issue follow the steps below:

1. Open Daylite
2. From the menu bar choose **Daylite** > **Setting** > **General**
3. Turn off **Sync in the background**
4. Quit Daylite

Perform steps 1 and 2 again and this time select the checkbox labelled "Sync in the background.
