This error occurs when Daylite on your Mac is unable to connect to Daylite. Go through each section in the order below, which addresses each of the main reasons why you may experience this issue and its solution.

***

### Check the internet connection.

The first step to solving the problem is to confirm if you are on the internet. If you can view this article on the computer with this error, you likely have an internet connection. Click on **Retry Sync** and see if the issue resolves itself.

***

### Check if Daylite is available

From time to time, issues may prevent syncing with Daylite. When a problem is identified, the [Daylite Status page](https://status.marketcircle.com/) is updated. If this page indicates a syncing issue, our team is already working to restore functionality, and no action is required on your part.

***

### **Verify versions for Daylite and macOS**

To keep up with the demands of Security & Privacy and to keep your data and your clients information secure, Daylite system requirements are updated periodically.

Please check your macOS version number (Apple > About) and your Daylite version number (Daylite > About) and confirm that they currently meet our system requirements by going to our Daylite compatibility guide.

Please do not add any further information into your Daylite if you are using an unsupported macOS or Daylite version as this could result in data loss.

If issues persist after following these steps [contact support](mailto:support@daylite.app?subject=Cannot%20Sync%20Daylite%20Cloud%20Cannot%20be%20Reached) for more assistance.
