# Daylite Volume Mismatch

Daylite saves a local copy of your data on your Mac so you can use it even without an internet connection. This local copy is tied to your specific Mac and cannot be moved to another computer or storage location.

If you’ve recently set up a new Mac, restored your computer, or moved Daylite’s files, you might see this error because the local copy no longer matches your current setup.

To resolve this issue, click **Recreate Storage** in the error message. Daylite will restart and download a fresh copy of your data. Once this is complete, you’ll be able to log in and use Daylite as usual.
